C is for Cookie, at least it was

Damn those PC mongers at the Children's Television Workshop, now they're going to take all of the joy away from Cookie Monster. The show has been going downhill ever since Roosevelt Franklin was booted from the cast. Most of the slapstick humor (originally used so little boys would watch the show)has been removed and that little creep Elmo runs the show. Don't even get me started about Snuffy.

I loved Sesame St. too. But something about that weird segment where the dots appeared on the screen and then one square would try to make its way through all the circles FREAKED ME OUT so bad. I used to close my eyes then. Weird, huh? What's even weirder is that I grew up to become one of those squares, and I'm still pushing through a crowd of circles.

Silly about Cookie Monster. I guess "C" stands for "condescending" now, or maybe politically "correct".

I loved Sesame Street as well, but I have to agree. Since the PC Police took over, it seems to be "C for condescending." The whole Cookie Monster thing is just as silly as they can get. I wonder if they keep the PC bs up, how much longer will the show last?
