San Francisco being full of total moonbats is considering
charging people extra for the use of bags. Primarily plastic, but they would include paper just to be fair. I already recycle my plastic bags here in good old redneck Tennessee so I wonder what they'd think of me?

Recycling isn't the point - it's another social engineering project they're on, trying to force people to do something they consider appropriate (bring their own bags to the store).

The dilettante shopper, after a jar of organic artichoke hearts and a wedge of brie, doesn't see anything wrong with this picture. The parent who shops once a week for the household, and comes away with 30 bags of groceries, sees it all too clearly.
Dr. Pat,
You are right with your social engineering statement. If a family just went grocery shopping every two weeks -at 30 bags a trip that adds up to $117 dollars a year. I know I can't afford that sort of dough.
