February 9, 1985. We finally have basketball homecoming at Riverdale on a Saturday night. The oft cancelled game with Manchester was finally on and the Warriors did not disappoint. Homecoming king Archie Hughes scored 33 in a blowout win over the Red Raiders. It was another great display of run and gun basketball with the Warriors boys team going to 20 wins and no losses on the season.
