Part 49 of an ongoing series listing every movie that played at the Marbro Drive-In once located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Today's post covers July 1978 through September 1978. There is an oddity with this one in the Smokey and the Good Time Outlaws ran from July 5 - 14, but the film wasn't officially released until November 1978. The reason for this is it was a local production having been filmed in Franklin, Tennessee. Since the plot concerns making it on the Grand Ole Opry I assume there are scenes in Nashville too.
