I'm going back through what comprised my senior year of high school and first semester of college in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Come along for the ride. New posts every day or so mixed in with other things.
November 21, 1984. The Warriors swept Gallatin on November 20th so it was a propitious start to their season. Angie Nobles led the Warriorettes in scoring while Archie Hughes poured in 32 points for the boys team. All of the rancor between parents and Coach Hopkins before the season was about to be forgotten as a very magical run had begun.
The football season may have ended for Riverdale a few weeks before, but that didn't mean the marching band got time off. They were still busy winning superior rank at competition. The band, led by Connie Jamison, was always great to hear and fun to watch my senior year.
