Film Flashback September 11, 1972

Our journey back into the past today is to September 11, 1972. If you're in the mood for a movie there's only the Martin Theatre and the Marbro Drive-In to choose from, but you'd have more choices for a pizza before the film.

The J & G Pizza Palace was welcoming students back with a special "all the spaghetti you can eat" deal on Mondays and Tuesdays. September 11, 1972 was a Monday so you could get your fill of spaghetti before checking out The Godfather which was playing the Martin.

The B & L Pizza Palace special of the week is a hoagie. I bet the convicts that don't manage to escape in Chain Gang Women playing at the Marbro would like a hoagie with a file smuggled inside it.

Sir Pizza has two locations with one of them being right in Jackson Heights Plaza where you'd find the Martin so seeing The Godfather after supper would be super easy, but I really do need a reference to the other movie, The Stepmother, playing the Marbro Drive-In instead.

I have never seen The Godfather. Maybe someday.

I've never seen these movies either. I doubt I ever will.
