Monday Music

Happy Labor Day! Here's some of the music I've been listening/watching lately. The Are Sounds Electrik YouTube is great for electro music. I really love it when they throw in video from some perhaps long lost 80's dance club. Cigarettes were a must. Next we have a joyful Poi Dog Pondering song that was used in an episode of The Adventures of Pete & Pete. One of my most favorite artists ever is up next with the brilliant three chords of Matthew Sweet's "Sick Of Myself" and its sublime rock video. Ken Prymus singing "Suicide Is Painless" from Robert Altman's M*A*S*H. Don't worry, Nurse Dish revived the Capt. later. "Mungo City" by Spacehog just plain rocks. I wouldn't be surprised if you thought The Ocean Blue was a British band, but they were actually from Pennsylvania. That's all for now.

throw away a chance at greatness

throwing your whole education away

Mungo City

our music sounds a bit like Echo and the Bunnymen and that's good
