August 2, 1985 (Revisiting the Past)

I'm going back through what comprised my senior year of high school and first semester of college in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Come along for the ride. New posts every day or so mixed in with other things.

August 2, 1985. It was time to get weird. John Hughes's new film Weird Science played the Martin Four and I went with the usual gang. DD, Clyde, probably Smooth, and myself couldn't miss the opening night of this bonkers film. We saw the early showing and I remember walking out and finding some of our other friends waiting in line for the next showing. We asked SB what he'd been up to since graduation and he made a rude shaking gesture with his right hand.
