Here's some Halloween ads from the Daily News Journal spanning the years 1973-1978. I started in 1973 as this was the first year for the Murfreesboro Jaycees WGNS Haunted House which became an annual smash with young and old alike. I always wanted to go through it, but could never talk my parents into taking me to it. Friends would breathlessly tell me of the horrors within and how there was an ambulance waiting outside to haul victims of the terror away.
